COLONIAL BROWN BREAD 
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/3 c. unbleached flour
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Mix first five ingredients in large bowl. Slowly add buttermilk until well blended. Pour into prepared pans. Bake one hour.
