CHERRY DESSERT 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tbsp. lemon juice or extract
2 c. sifted flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Cream together the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, one at a time. Add the lemon juice or extract. Add the flour and spread in prepared 9 x 13 inch pan. Drop the cherry pie filling on top by spoonfuls. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar on top while warm.
