1/2 c. butter 1 pkg. (14 oz.) caramels 1 pkg. (10 1/2 oz.) miniature marshmallows 6 c. Wheaties or corn flakes, slightly crushed 1 c. chopped walnuts 1 can (16 oz.) coconut pecan frosting 1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips (optional) In microwave or double boiler, melt butter and caramels. When slightly melted, add marshmallows. Heat until marshmallows are melted. Add walnuts and cereal. Mix well. Press into a well greased 9 x 13 inch pan, cool. Spread frosting evenly over top. Melt chocolate chips. Drizzle or spread over frosting. Cool and cut. |
