CRUNCHY CEREAL BARS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1 c. chunky peanut butter
3 c. crispy or flake type cereal

In a heavy saucepan, melt together sugar and corn syrup. Add the peanut butter. Stir until the peanut butter is well blended in BUT do not cook! Remove from heat and stir in the cereal. Pat into a 9 x 13 inch pan. This recipe can be doubled for a 10 x 15 inch bar pan.

OPTIONAL: Can be frosted with melted chocolate chips or any frosting desired.
