QUICK COOKIES FROM A CAKE MIX 
Any flavor of cake mix
Eggs
Shortening
Water
Nuts and chips; optional

To one cake mix of any flavor, add 1-2 eggs, 2 tablespoons shortening and 2 tablespoons water for crisp cookies or 1/4 cup water for soft cookies.

This batter can be formed into a roll and chilled then sliced for refrigerator cookies; dropped by the spoonful for drop cookies, or rolled into balls and flattened for decorated cookies.

Bake at 365 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

By adding nuts or chips, this recipe will make an endless variety of cookies.
