CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
2/3 c. uncooked white rice
2/3 c. sugar
2 qt. milk
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. light cream

Combine rice with sugar, milk, salt, and vanilla in a 3-quart casserole. Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add cream and bake an additional 1/2 hour.

Grated lemon rind or seedless raisins may be added.
