WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESE CAKE #2 | |
1 pkg. chocolate wafers, crushed in food processor 1 stick butter, melted Spray springform pan with Pam and coat with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. 20 oz. cream cheese 1 c. sugar 5 eggs 16 oz. white chocolate 20 oz. sour cream 1/4 c. Bailey's Irish cream Pinch of cream of tartar Cream the cream cheese with sugar in mixer, add egg yolks, one at a time. Melt chocolate over warm water in double boiler. Add to cream cheese mixture. Add sour cream and Bailey's Irish cream. Beat whites with cream of tartar until stiff, fold into chocolate cream cheese mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I had lost the recipe for my white chocolate cheese cake, so I called the restaurant that originally gave it to me. However, the Chef gave me this one instead, he claimed this one was better. I suggest you try both and make up your mind which one you like better. |
