HILDA'S FRUIT PIE 
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 c. whipping cream (Cool Whip)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

Mix the milk, vanilla, lemon juice, and almond together. Fold in Cool Whip. Pour into a 9-inch baked pie shell. Top with slices of fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, or peaches work wonderfully).

Pour a glaze over the fruit and chill the pie at least an hour or two before serving. Glaze is made by boiling: 1/2 cup fruit and 1/2 cup water; strain.

Add a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch to the liquid after it is boiling again. Boil until thickens. When cool, pour over fruit.
