SOFT PRETZELS | |
1 pkg. rapid rise yeast 1 1/2 c. warm water (105 - 115 degrees) 1/2 tsp. sugar 4 1/2 c. flour (approximately) 1 egg Coarse salt Dissolve yeast in warm water and add sugar. Slowly add the flour and knead 6 minutes. Divide the dough into walnut sized pieces. Then roll the dough into a pretzel shape. Brush the pretzel with egg. Sprinkle the pretzels with coarse salt. Bake about 12 minutes at 450 degrees. |
