SAUSAGE APPLE SAUERKRAUT SUPPER 
1 lb. pork sausage
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 apple, cored and sliced
1 lb. can sauerkraut
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
4 servings instant seasoned mashed potatoes (2 cup)
1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Paprika

Brown sausage in skillet. Drain. Reserve 2 tablespoons drippings. Turn sausage into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Saute onion in 2 tablespoons drippings. Place onion and apples on sausage. Cover with kraut and caraway seeds. Drop potatoes by spoonful over kraut. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika. Bake 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
