ENGLISH SHERRY TRIFLE 
1 Entermanns pound cake
Lg. pkg. vanilla pudding
1 sherry glass sweet sherry (approximately)
Whole strawberries
Flaked almonds
Lg. salad bowl
Lg. pkg. strawberry jello
Lg. Delmonte fruit cocktail
Milk for pudding
Vanilla extract
Whipped cream

Start the day before. Cut cake into thick slices and put in bottom of bowl. Splash some sherry onto it (don't over do it). Drain fruit and save liquor for jello. Put on top of cake. Make jello using liquor from fruit plus water. Pour on top of fruit (fruit will rise to top). Put in refrigerator to set overnight. Next day make vanilla pudding and add a couple of extra drops extract. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool, but do not allow to set. Pour onto jello and put back in refrigerator to set. To serve, decorate with whole berries, whipped cream and almonds.

A great centerpiece.
