CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
6 squares chocolate
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 stick butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Melt first 4 ingredients in a double boiler. Add the tall can of evaporated milk, slowly, stirring constantly. When all milk has been added remove immediately from heat. Do not cook. Add vanilla and salt. Sauce will thick as it cools.
