1 c. meal 1 c. cooked rice 2 eggs, beaten separately 2 heaping tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 heaping tbsp. shortening 1 c. milk Boiling water To well beaten yolks add meal, baking powder and salt. Then add cooked rice and milk. Make mixture very thin with boiling water. Add shortening which has been melted and last whites of eggs beaten stiff. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45-50 minutes. |
