HOT CHICKEN SALAD CASSEROLE | |
3 c. diced chicken 2 c. diced celery 1/2 c. slivered almonds 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 onion, chopped 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese 2/3 c. crushed potato chips Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients except cheese and chips. Turn into a 2 quart casserole dish. Combine chips and cheese and sprinkle on top. Bake 20 minutes. A great do - ahead meal. Serve with sour cream biscuits - recipe included and your favorite vegetable or fruit mold. Serves 4. |
