WHITE HOUSE PECAN PIE | |
9 inch unbaked pie shell 1 c. soft butter 1 c. sugar 1 c. dark corn syrup 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3 lg. eggs 2 c. chopped pecans Combine butter, sugar, salt, corn syrup, and vanilla; beat until smooth. Add eggs, beat until well blended. Fold in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or more (if it wiggles, it is not done) up to 1/2 hour. Top should be toastie brown. |
