CHEESE SAUCE 
1 tbsp. butter
1 scant tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
1 c. cheese, small cubes or grated

Melt butter and mix with flour; add salt and pepper. Stir in milk and bring to a boil. Add cheese. Just melt cheese - don't cook it any longer. Pour over vegetables you are using.
