2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 c. figs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Spray pan with Pam. Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. Karo syrup

Cook for 3 minutes and pour over hot cake. Eat and enjoy.
