TACO CASSEROLE 
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 lb. chopped beef
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. taco mix
1 can kidney beans
2 c. cheddar cheese
1 (12 oz.) pkg. taco chips
1/2 c. taco sauce

Brown meat and onion in oil. Add tomato sauce and taco mix; remove from heat. Rinse beans and mix with one cup cheese.

Layer taco chips in bottom of pan. Layer bean and cheese mixture. Layer with another layer of chips. Spoon meat mixture over chips. Top with a layer of chips.

Drizzle taco sauce over chips and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees in a 9 x 13 pan.
