ROLLED MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. molasses (light)
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
6 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda

Cream shortening and sugar. Add molasses. Sift 2 cups flour with other dry ingredients and add alternately to first mixture with sour milk. Add vanilla and rest of flour to make a soft dough. Roll and cut in shapes. Bake 5 to 8 minutes in a 375 to 400 degree oven. Cookies are thick and soft.

FROST: Confectioners' sugar, butter, milk, vanilla, and marshmallow fluff.
