SAWDUST PIE | |
1 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. flaked coconut 1/1 2 c. chopped pecans 1 1/2 c. graham crumbs 7 egg whites, unbeaten 1 (10-inch) pie shell Unsweetened whipped cream for garnish 1 lg. banana, thinly sliced Combine sugar, coconut, pecans, graham cracker crumbs and egg whites in large bowl and mix well. Do not beat! Turn into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until filling is just set, approximately 35 minutes. Do not overbake. Serve at room temperature. Top each serving with a generous dollop of whipped cream and several banana slices. Makes 8-10 servings. |
