1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg. Hershey Kisses

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and nuts. Beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough. Shape dough just to cover the kiss and roll to make a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes until set but do not brown. Place on wire rack until cool. Makes about 40. If desired, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
