ORANGE POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. milk
5 lg. eggs, room temp.
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter; add Crisco; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. Add sugar slowly. Combine baking powder and flour and add alternately with milk and orange juice. Add vanilla and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and nutmeg; mix well. Put in greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or when straw comes out clean when inserted into cake.
