TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
1 c. butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda

Bring butter, water, and cocoa to boil. Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Pour boiling mixture into dry ingredients; mix well. Blend eggs, sour cream, baking soda, and vanilla. Add to chocolate batter and beat well.

Pour into greased cookie or jelly roll sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes. While cake is baking, prepare frosting.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Bring butter, cocoa, and milk to boil. Add powdered sugar and mix. Add vanilla and nuts.

Spread frosting on top of hot cake directly from oven.
