POTATO CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour, plain
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. crushed potato chips (I use Ruffles)
1 c. chopped nuts
Chocolate or butterscotch chips (opt.)

Cream shortening and sugars. Add beaten eggs. Sift flour and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture. Add chopped nuts and crushed potato chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 or 12 minutes.
