TOMATO CHOW CHOW | |
1 peck green tomatoes 6 green peppers 4 onions 1 c. salt Vinegar 2 tbsp. each: cloves, cinnamon, allspice 1 c. sugar Slice tomatoes, peppers and onions. Stir in salt and let stand overnight. Pour off water, shop and put in a kettle with vinegar to cover them. Add spices and sugar. Cook until soft. |
