TOMATO CHOW CHOW 
3/4 roaster pan green tomatoes
1 head cabbage
3 or 4 onions

Sprinkle with 1/2 cup salt and soak overnight. Drain and soak in following mixture for two hours. 5 c. sugar 1 box pickling spice 1 tbsp. allspice

Can in sterile jars.
