GRILLED MARINATED FISH | |
King Mackeral or Tuna steaks cut 3/4 to 1 inch thick are best choices for grilling but Spanish Maceral fillets are also very good. I have even tried catfish and it was very good. Marinate fish in Zesty Italian dressing in closed container in refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours. Shake occasionally if dressing does not cover fish. Fire up grill, gas or charcoal, spray Pam or equivalent on grill top to prevent stocking. I prefer using stainless "fish baskets" which allow fo flipping without spatula. Cook approximately 20 to 30 minutes on each side depending on thickness of steaks or fillets. I usually turn twice and pour left over dressing on fish after each turn. Remove from grill and prepare yourself for a delicious meal. Best served with baked potato and salad or slaw along with your favorite beverage. |
