CHOCOLATE OATMEAL M & M CHIPPERS 
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. Nestle's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks (1 c.) butter, softened
2 eggs
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. M & M's candy
1 c. chocolate chips
1 3/4 c. oats, uncooked
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Stir in oats, chocolate chips, M & M's and nuts. Drop by slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9 to 10 minutes until edges are browned.
