CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
1 lg. hen
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 or 3 chicken bouillon cubes
About 2-3 c. broth in which chicken was cooked

Cook chicken until tender, remove from heat and let cool. Measure flour, salt, pepper and baking powder; sift all together. Beat eggs, stir with the broth slowly into the dry ingredients, adding broth as necessary to make the dough. Roll out and cut into squares. Add chicken bouillon cubes to broth and let come to a boil. Drop dumplings into it and stir. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add chicken to the dumplings and serve.
