EASY DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE | |
1 pkg. devil's food cake, baked to pkg. directions 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar 1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip 1 c. powdered sugar 1 jar Smucker's hot fudge topping Bake cake mix as directed on package in 2 layer pans. When cool, use string to cut layers in half to make 4 layers. Freeze for easy icing. Mix well cream cheese and sugar; add Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Spread thin on all 4 layers. Warm hot fudge topping in microwave enough to pour. Drizzle over top of each layer and on top. (Butterscotch topping may be used instead of hot fudge for a different taste. |
