1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. chopped candied cherries
1 c. chopped candied pineapple
1 pkg. (8 oz.) raisins
3 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add eggs, buttermilk, flour, soda and spices. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes.
