DEER OR BEEF JERKY | |
1 tbsp. salt 1/4 tbsp. pepper 1/2 tbsp. garlic salt 1/4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 drops Tabasco Dash of thyme Cut meat 3/16" thick. (Remove fat and tallow.) Add water to cover meat, cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain, pat dry. Lay strips on oven rack (make sure strips don't touch). Bake 120 to 150 degrees for 4 to 7 hours. |
