2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1 c. thick sour milk
2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 heaping tbsp. butter

Beat eggs; add salt, sugar, flour, corn meal. Gradually add sour milk and 1 cup of sweet milk with soda dissolved in it. Place skillet on heat and melt butter. When hot, pour in batter.

Last pour into center of batter second cup of milk. Do not stir. Brown in hot 400 degree oven. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 30- 35 minutes.
