1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, well beaten
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. molasses
1 tbsp. butter, melted

Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add other ingredients and beat thoroughly. Pour into shallow greased baking pan and bake in a hot, 375 degree, oven for 30 minutes.
