POPPY SEED AND ONION BREAD 
2/3 c. onion, chopped fine
1 1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. poppy seeds
2 c. whole wheat flour
2 c. bread flour
2 tsp. yeast
1 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Directions for bread machine.

Combine salt, sugar, sugar, whole wheat flour, bread flour and poppy seeds in bread pan. Next, pour water, onions and butter on top. Fill yeast dispenser with 2 teaspoons of yeast. Press start pad. Remove bread pan from machine after beeping stops. Turn pan upside down to release bread and allow to cool on a wire rack. Makes 1 large loaf.
