ONION AND GARLIC BREAD 
1/2 c. grated or finely sliced fresh onion
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 c. bread flour
1 1/2 tbsp. nonfat dry milk
1 1/2 tsp. yeast
3/4 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Directions for bread machine.

Combine sugar, salt, whole wheat flour, bread flour and dry milk in bread pan. Next, add sliced onion and garlic. Pour in water and butter. Fill yeast dispenser with 1 1/2 teaspoons of yeast. Press start pad. Remove bread pan from machine after beeping starts. Turn pan upside down to release bread and allow to cool on a wire rack. Makes 1 large loaf.

This is a great recipe however... I did this sans breadmaker and noticed that the onion and juice inhibited the yeast and first rising was 2 hours instead of regular 45-60 minutes.
