EGGS AND CHEESE STRATA 
6 slices day old bread
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Butter bread and cut into small cubes. Alternate layers of bread and cheese in buttered 2 quart casserole. Mix eggs, milk and seasonings and pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees 1 hour and 10 minutes or until golden brown.
