CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE RUM BROWNIES | |
2 pkgs. fudge brownie mix 2 eggs 1 c. olive oil 1/3 c. dark rum 1/2 c. water plus 2 tbsp. 2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. rum flavoring 2 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts 1 1/2 pkgs. semi-sweet chocolate chips Grease BOTTOM ONLY of 13x9 pan. Mix all ingredients until well coated, using a wooden spoon in a deep bowl. Spread batter in greased pan. Bake for 60 minutes at 300 degrees on center rack with an aluminum oven pan on the lower rack. This will provide a shield for the brownies and the bottom will not burn or cause dryness. Test for doneness. When done, wrap with foil, refrigerate for 3 hours. Frost with cream cheese frosting mix after refrigeration. |
