STUFFED BAKED PORK CHOPS 
6 double-thick pork chops
2 c. bread cubes
1 1/2 tbsp. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sage
2 2/3 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. chopped apple

Combine bread, onion, and seasonings. Add butter, apple, and hot water to moisten. Toss gently to mix. Cut pocket in chops. Fill with stuffing. Brown on both sides in hot oil. Add small amount of hot water. Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees 1 1/2 hours. Check periodically and add more water, if necessary.
