APPLE KRISP 
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. rolled oats
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
5 c. sliced apples

Sauce:

1 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix melted butter, sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Press remainder of crust into bottom of 9 x 13 pan.

Mix sauce ingredients together and boil 1 minute. Layer sliced apples on crust. Pour hot sauce over apples. Cover with 1 cup reserved topping.

Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F.
