QUICK SHRIMP JAMBALAYA | |
1 lb. raw, peeled, deveined shrimp, fresh or frozen 1 c. chopped green pepper 2/3 c. chopped onions 2 tbsp. olive oil or cooing oil 2 cans Spanish rice 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. liquid hot pepper sauce Green pepper ring; garnish Thaw shrimp if frozen cut large shrimp in half. In a 10 inch fry pan, cook green pepper and onions in olive oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients except garnish and cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until shrimp are tender. Garnish with green pepper rings. Serves 6. |
