CONGEALED STRAWBERRY SALAD 
2 sm. boxes strawberry gelatin
1 1/2 c. hot water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 (#1) can crushed pineapple
2 bananas
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Dissolve gelatin in water, stirring until all of gelatin is mixed. Add frozen strawberries; stir with fork to break pieces of berries. Add crushed pineapple and juice. Slice bananas. Add to mixture. Pour 1/2 the gelatin mixture into a casserole. Chill until set. Put remaining mixture in a cool place. Spread sour cream mixed with nuts onto firm gelatin. Add remaining gelatin. Chill.
