CONGEALED STRAWBERRY-BANANA
SALAD
 
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
1 env. unflavored gelatin
2 tbsp. cold water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, partially thawed
20 oz. can crushed pineapple
3 lg. bananas
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix strawberry gelatin to boiling water and stir until thoroughly dissolved. Mix unflavored gelatin in cold water and melt over warm water until mixture is clear and all particles of gelatin dissolve. Add to strawberry mixture. Add strawberries, crushed pineapples with juice, diced bananas and chopped pecans. Pour into a 7 x 11 inch container or into a greased 8 cup mold and chill until set. To serve, cut into squares or unmold.
