UPSIDE DOWN PIZZA | |
3/4 lb. ground beef 3/4 lb. sweet Italian sausage 1 c. Prego spaghetti sauce flavored with meat 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 loaf (1 lb.) frozen white bread dough, thawed 1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 oz.) Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In 10 inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat, cook ground meat (beef), sausage, onion with garlic until meat is browned and onion is tender, stirring to separate meat. Spoon off fat. Stir in Prego sauce and Parmesan cheese. On floured surface, press dough into a 10 inch round, place over meat mixture in skillet. Gently tuck edge of dough between meat mixture and side of skillet. Bake 20 minutes or until crust is lightly browned. To serve invert onto serving platter. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese, let stand 5 minutes. Makes 4 servings. |
