EASY APPLE CRISP 
6 or 7 med. apples (any type you prefer for cooking)
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
Cinnamon
1/3 c. melted butter

Peel and slice the apples into a medium-sized Pyrex dish.

In a medium bowl, combine all of the remaining ingredients except the cinnamon and butter. Using a fork, blend all together until the mixture becomes crumbly.

Sprinkle the flour mixture on top of the apples. Pour the melted butter over this and sprinkle with desired amount of cinnamon. Add chopped nuts if desired.

Bake in a pre-heated oven at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream.
