1 c. sugar
1 full c. apple, cut real fine
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cold coffee
1 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Bake about 40 minutes.
