WALNUT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | |
1 c. marg. or butter, softened 3/4 c. gran. sugar 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1 egg 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi sweet choc. chips Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, sugars, and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. (Centers will be soft). Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. If using self rising flour, omit baking soda and salt. |
