SWEET AND SOUR RED CABBAGE 
2 1/2 lb. shredded red cabbage
3 lb. cooking apples (peeled and sliced thin)
2 tbsp. chopped onion
3/4 c. grape jelly
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. butter

Cook cabbage, apples and onions together for about 10 to 15 minutes in 1 1/2 cups water. Pour off water.

Add jelly, salt, vinegar and butter. Simmer for 5 minutes or until done to your taste.
