PUMPKIN CHEESE BREAD 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar, softened cream cheese and butter, mixing until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one. Blend in pumpkin. Add dry ingredients, mixing until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 inch loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans. Makes 2 loaves.
