FRY PAN FRUIT BALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. dates, chopped
1/4 c. cherries, chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. Rice Krispies
Pinch of salt
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring

In fry pan, melt butter and sugar. Add dates. Beat eggs. Add sugar, then add to dates and butter in fry pan. Cook until thick, stirring continually. cool. Add fruit, nuts, Rice Krispies and flavoring. Form in balls and roll in coconut.
